Who we are
I believe space and flavour speak the same language.
Born in Peru and trained in London as an architect, my work has explored how atmosphere shapes human experience. For over three decades — twenty years practicing in Peru and the past ten in London — I have designed restaurants across Lima, Santiago de Chile and Miami, translating culinary identities into spatial narratives where light, materiality and rhythm serve the story of the plate.
But long before architecture, there was a kitchen.
My grandmother cooked for a large family and an ever-present circle of friends. Her table was generous and abundant, always open, always shared. From her, I learned that food is not spectacle — it is connection. It is memory. It is love expressed through gesture and care.
My culinary language is deeply Peruvian, rooted in ancestral traditions and generational knowledge, with influences that trace back to pre-Hispanic times. I approach this heritage with respect and playful curiosity, allowing traditions to merge, evolve and reappear in contemporary form.
For many years, I hosted intimate dinners in my home in Primrose Hill. Now based in Hoxton, I continue this ritual through carefully curated gatherings and Supper Clubs, where guests do not simply eat — they participate in a composed experience. Each evening unfolds as a journey, structured yet intimate, thoughtful yet warm.
This is not a shift away from architecture.
It is its expansion.
